February 2025 Meeting Recap
This was an incredible meeting - highlighting the talent and generosity of our guild members. The highlight of the meeting included numerous donated quilts to the LA Wildfire Victims.
Jean showing our guild created donation quilt to our meeting location The Center. Every patch of the quilt tells a unique story of care and meticulous attention to detail.
Reggie showed her zig zag quilt to be donated to the LA wildfire victims. Incredibly vibrancy!
Nina showed an incredibly sweet placemat made for her grandchild.
Laura showed a meticulously made LA wildfire donation quilt. Well done!
Laura also showed two recent mini quilts finished - scrappy log cabins. Great craftmanship!
Chris showed an upcycled wool quilt that she added incredibly ornate embroidery too.
Sue showed “the simplest quilt I have ever made” but a lovely finish none the less! Thank you for donating to LA!
Jean showed three mini quilts: an adorable game board, a modern paint chip and a former summer challenge ocean quilt. Great work!
Debbie wowed the crowd with a recent block lotto finish! Incredible placement and detail, Debbie!
Nellie showed a recently purchased Pat Polly quilt. Beautiful share!
Candace showed an upcycled men’s shirt quilt and a crocheted afghan to be donated. Well done and much appreciated!
Asher showed a thoughtfully arranged upcycled sweater and a beautiful 10 year anniversary mini quilt for their wife.
Maren showed incredible precision and brilliance with this tiny pieced pinwheels quilt
Maren also left the crowd in awe of an appliqued message quilt!
Diane and Marilyn showed two playful kitty quilts they did together.
Marilyn then showed a panel quilt she kindly donated to LA wildfire victims
Claire showed a scrappy bear paw - great use of color here!
Claire also showed an innovative pink and green scrappy log cabin quilt.
Bernadette showed a recent baby quilt made with the Anita’s arrowhead method - very creative and cozy!
Terry showed a carefully crafted quilt that’s been cherished.
Orlando showed his test block of Vickeidy’s (Sewspicious) recent release
Vickeidy also showed a sturdy and stunning duffle bag ready for Quilt Con!
Elisabeth then finished us off with her second quilt ever! A rich and creative log cabin!
