It was wonderful to get back together after our summer hiatus
We kicked off the meeting with our message quilts - a summer challenge directed by Bruce
Nanette showed her craft room talisman - warding off any bad crafting vibes.

Debbie then showed her Saving the World quilt with a featured olive branch

Diane showed a Kawandi for Kamala!

Andrea turned a scrap table panel into a jacket - with a pieced vote emblem!


Chris thrilled the crowd with her response to Roe v Wade falling

Jean referenced the day she saw more hope - 7/21/24 with a new presidential candidate

After the summer challenge quilts, we jumped into show-and-tell
Diane showed her Basket of Deplorables quilt

And a string quilt out of a Sunday Morning Quilt pattern

Sue showed her latest donation to Room to Grow - a hexie quilt made from the scrap table donations

Arlene was inspired by the International Quilt Museum and made her rendition of the Grandma’s Fan quilt - made from scraps!

Chris showed fantastic sashiko panels she worked on over the summer while caring for her husband.

Sarah showed a retirement quilt made for a longtime coworker

Anne showed a few quilts - a quilt made from a class at the 92nd Street Y
