Flowers for a friend...

This was inspired by my orange challenge block for December... not the color but the flower. A friend had a significant birthday recently and I wanted to get her flowers, but ones that would last. It's about 2'x2' and I had to sort of cheat with the piecing, I couldn't figure out how to do a "Y" seam so I ended up doing a sort of applique seam to join the flowers to the stems. Anyway, it was interesting!
